I have been learning Joomla so I can switch my own site from Wordpress in order to use the excellent SOBI2 Business Directory Module. I have two questions:

1. Will this module definitely work with your templates?

2. If so, can you tell me if Newsy is a good choice for fast viewing? Many of my readers are still on dial-up connections, so I need a very quick load, which is why I am looking for a no-image template, so only my own images are needed.

The Sobi2 Business directory is a very popular Joomla extension. In fact we have members using it successfully and it designed to work with the majority of Joomla Templates.

However i would recommend you to use our latest template IT HeadLine 2, which is far more compatible with Sobi than our previous template IT Newsy, which was released back in April 08. Also IT HeadLine is one of the fasttes Joomla Template currently on the market as we have optimized the images and we have compressed the CSS/JS with GZIPP compression.
