Hi all

Thought I'd add my latest site here to help encourage others to do the same. Would be great to see some more sites created by others here using the IceTheme templates.

The following site is not finished, but almost. It's a Virtuemart site with my own VM mods (especially the VM layout), using IT Fission. The main criteria for this site was simplicity. This client wanted something very clean, with no fuss. I decided which modules I felt were necessary to attract customers to the shop, but at the same time keeping it light, and easy to manage.

Any comments regarding potential improvements are, of course, very welcome.

Most importantly, I hope we can get more people posting their sites here.

Like it, especially the header area but i have a problems with images i think that they are linked on the localhost

for example:
localhost/FairTradingPost/components/com...=90&fileout=

Also i dont think that is a good idea to put the hover function on all over the boxes, or a at least should be more bright color

Yes, the images. Silly me. I suppose I could just never sleep and leave my local server on all the time....

Interesting you mention the hover thing. I'm not so keen on it mself either, but the client wanted a ver easy to use system, and a lot of the customers who visit ma not be technical people.... so the aim was to make something easy to use and clear. The whole reason I got this job was because I offered to do something very cheap and simple.....

I will try some other colours for the hover. Any suggestions?

The header logo will get changed to a newly done version of whats there (you can see the quality of the current one is not great - just took that from old site and did a bit of work on it).

How do you get more products (cookies, stem ginger, Brazil nuts, etc)) listed on the same flypage?

Is it any way that this flypage can be integrated in IT TheStore?

The flypage is nothing special, really. I think the TheStore flypage is much better for TheStore template. Regarding the layout, I just made small adjustmemts in flypage.fpl.php and theme.css (you can experiemnt with those), and I've also modifidied how the quantity and addtocart are positioned for child products (not finished yet). I also have a fairly heavily modified shop.products_details.php. I think the general layout of this site is ok, but not great. If it was a bigger job I would probably spend longer on it.

I really like the colour connection between the black logo and purple. And like the diamonds (or whatever they are) next the the logo.

Are you able to change the image in the 2nd box from the left Ithe gold) in the bottom modules? I really like the pictures on the white background (especially the stones - they really stand out). I think would look great if the gold could be in that format.
