Hi,

Many of you have not fully tested and seen the marvelous detailed features that our templates offer. One of this is the Registration Javascript Validation, which we have changed from the default one that Joomla has to a new one, more accessible and usable.

Everything is set on the template but there is only one file that you need to replace to make use of this feature, which is located outside of the template so you need to manually add it.

The content of the attached file replace it your main joomla directory.

Also a script file that is used often by Joomla is the modal.js file which unfortunately don't work with the latest MooTools framework 1.2 that our templates uses, even with the comptibiliy layer that we have enabled on our latest templates. So please find attached the correct file and replace on the main directory.

This is what i've been looking for sooo looong. Thanks,i'll test it right away, along with shadowbox/lightbox.

Tested modal fix.
result : conflict with preview on article publisher in Joomla back end (the one that use squeezebox. Pls check:(
It shows : undefined (3 lines). replaced again, and everything's back to normal.

cmiiw, this attachment, modal_mootols_1.zip, it supposed to fix modal box problem in icetheme templates frontend, right? because modal box didn't function in any icetheme templates bcoz of the mootools version. and this modal fix should re-enable the modal box?
I use this modal fix, but it didn't works. it also made the modal box in back end to be malfuction, for example : when previewing articles. cmiiw.

Well you are right. Unfortunately Joomla use the same JavaScript files for it's backend and for the front-end, which personally i think is not a good choose and i hope to be fixed on the 1.6 version.

So the our script for the modal box work fine with Mootools 1.2 but breaks on Mootools 1.1 which is used on the backend.

However we will came with a solution so that you can use both modal.js files correctly.
